Sidekick is running on this site. You can access all parts of Sidekick
and quickly get a full understanding of how it works. This is a
fully functional demo -- no features have been disabled (except
the ability to make certain administrative changes).
Let's get started! To enter Sidekick, click
here!
- To log in as an administrator, log in as admin with
a password admin. You'll be able to view all the administrative
screens and reports.
- To log in as a performer, log in as albert with a password
albert. You'll be able to Click to Launch to start
up Sidekick's performer program and, with a web cam, host a live
show.
- To join a show, simply click on "Members Area". (If you are
already logged on as albert, you will want to log off first,
so you join as a visitor.) After clicking, you be able
to select Albert's live show and join it. To join a show
as a prospect instead of a member, click on "Public Area".
Read these notes to better understand how Sidekick is functioning:
- For the best performance, you should run the performer on one
machine and join as a member on another. If you only have one
machine available, you can run both on the same machine but overall
performance may be reduced.
- When you launch a show, you can select a "Private/public" show
or a "Nude" show. A "Private/public" show restricts the show to
only one paying client and uses the standard video for up to 5
frames/second. A "Nude" show allows any number of clients and
uses the Streaming Option for up to 30 frames/second.
- As part of a show, the moderator, charles can join.
Log in to Sidekick's home page as charles and click on
"Display Shows".
- If you launch a show under jose instead of albert,
the show will support two chat areas, one for each language using
Sidekick's Multiple Language option.
